Wolfenstein... no. Dungeon Master, yes. (Well, Ultima I or Wizardry even, but not Wolf3d which featured full 360 degree turning and fluid motion, not bound to a grid) Neat link though, so thanks.

The ones like this I've seen used <canvas>: Mozilla sample raycasting engine and Canvascape. There's also people working on a proper 3D canvas API.

I had no idea there was a <canvas> tag. Crazy. That demo sucked via it's non realtimeyness. But seriously that canvas tag is probably the most awsome thing to happen to web design since flash. hell, who even needs flash now!?
