I certainly can't , then agian I'm not French Parkour (often abbreviated PK) is a physical discipline of French origin in which participants attempt to pass obstacles in the fastest and most direct manner possible, using skills such as jumping, vaulting and climbing, or the more specific parkour moves.

The text would appear to be stolen from the "Parkour" Wikipedia article. [citation needed]

parkour was the first thing I searched for upon being introduced to the wonder of youtube.com.

This one is better, IMO, starring the founder of parkour.

I had the sound turned off on my computer while watching, but my brain filled in a lot of cartoonish sounds throughout... the kind of sounds you'd hear when Tom fell off a building, or Jerry got hit with a frying pan. Over and over again.

That's from banlieue 13.

In vid linked by the original post, at 2:42 he does a backflip that's ridiculous. If you can't be bothered to see the whole thing at least see that.

No need to be a jerk about it, ChasFile; mattoxic knows it's a double now, there's a flagging system in place. All your comment does is attempt to make yourself feel better by making someone else feel worse.

I haven't seen this particular video here before, and I think it's great.

Also, that kid's Batman.

One other thing: Some of the long jumps are incredible. What's the length of an "olympic" caliber long jump?
