I think Hemlines vs. razors has the wrong slope. Other than that, great post; I often think just like this.

Hemlines vs. razors has the right slope, it's just that "hemlines" should be treated as elevation, rather than skirt length, which is counterintuitive. A lot of those Venns are questionable, though. And what's up with the pairs of barcharts?

I totally misread the hemlines one. . . I thought it said Helminthes - as in platyhelminthes and I was all like . . . razors vs flatworms - I can see that.

I have always liked thinking in graphs. Whether some jokes are funnier than others doesn't really matter. It's the way of thinking about relationships (graphs, overlapping territories) between concepts or data that is mind opening. Excellent, hydrophonic, thank you.

I was thinking the same thing about the "friends made on an airplane vs body odor." It appears from that graph that the more gregarious i am while in the air, the prettier I smell.
