is this really a synced-play soundtrack or just a reimagining of the music? posted by felix at 11:16 AM on August 24, 2006
Really synced. I tried it out this past weekend, and it's great- until the disc ends 30 or so minutes into it.
The scenes with Mikey were probably the most interesting. Of note is a lyric "they turn your friends into ghosts" as he's shot in the head. posted by Dr-Baa at 11:24 AM on August 24, 2006
Beverly Hills Cop? Kind of lame.
What I want to see is something synced up to Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. That would be trippy and way cool.
Of course I mean the Gene Wilder version. posted by SBMike at 1:36 PM on August 24, 2006
Beverly Hills Cop? Kind of lame.
Agreed, but at least the music improves it. posted by Dr-Baa at 1:59 PM on August 24, 2006
How do you repackage a tired movie from the 80's in a way to entice 18-35 year olds to buy it? posted by crunchland at 2:18 PM on August 24, 2006
This project fails because I have never watched BHC and said to myself "this would be great, if only that supremely awesome kickass music that I will remember as vividly as various childhood memories wasn't there."
Seriousy- couldn't they have picked a soundtrack that actually sucked to do this? posted by XQUZYPHYR at 2:40 PM on August 24, 2006
