I remember the play he wrote with Charlie Kaufman, "The Fat Zip," which was produced at Broom Street Theatre in Madison many years ago.
Either Paul or Charlie wrote a letter to the editor of Isthmus decrying all the changes that Joel Gersman had made to their script. As I recall their biggest complaint was that he changed The Rosetta Stone to a nickle.
I had my own play up at the time so I missed it.
