Isn't a big chunk of the appeal of this kind of stuff the fact that it sits at the intersection of Creepy, Bloody, Innocent and Sexual? This whole NSFW thing is kind of overblown, and here is just a banal example. I mean, it's work, and you probably, in the eyez of your employers, shouldn't be looking at ANY - nippley, tubgirly or otherwise- recreational websites while you're at work. If we were good, dilligent, ethical employees, nothing on Metafilter would be SFW - though I'm perhaps as guilty as anyone of transgressing this. I do rue the fact that Metafilter is blue, instead of AutoCad black.

But it ignores the fact that different workplaces have different policies about casual Web browsing on the clock, so it's simply courteous to label a post that's got nudity to help folks in those different workplaces judge the risk. Please stop dismissing that kind of thoughtfulness as worthless.
