A quoi ça sert l’amour? - Live action version

"A quoi ça sert l’amour?" (previously) is an adorable cartoon set to a fantastic old song by Edith Piaf; recently, students at USC Film School set out to act out a live version of the cartoon, results here.

I miss the piano, too. But the live action filmmakers did a pretty good job of keeping the pace & spirit of the cartoon intact even when they had to change the action and camera shots. It's really pretty impressive for a student film.

Too bad about the lack of lighting. Apparently all the budget went into other things, like interesting transitions.
