Delaware 7+h Album and 5+h Exhibi+ion: Too Slow to Live Experimental -- ha, excuse me, experimen+al ar+ and visuals by JAPAnese LUNA+ics DELAware. What made me bring this to your attention? Two delicious bites, Monte Blanc and Walk, Don't Learn. The entire album is available to download if you've become enamored or are generally adventurous. [Flash, Audio, embedded gifs, generally odd]

The music is quite nice, but I've had it with these cutsey band/art collective names employing plus signs, random capitalization, and generally being unpronouncable.

Sorry, it had to be said.

Self-consciously eccentric "look at how edgy we are" number-letter substitutions just distract from the main thing they're showcasing... It's as played out as changing an "s" to a "z".

I'm adventurous but not adven+urous.

But how about changing that "s" into a "5"? Is that still cool? Can we get some irc hooligans in here to confirm?

/rerail: i'm actually digging this music though... Played out name or not [a rose by any other name, book by it's cover, etc.]

Neal Stephenson did it in Snow Crash, therefore it has to always be cool no matter how damned annoying it may be.

I take it back, that was a "v" that got changed to a "5". A play on Roman numerals, which is much geekier and more awesome than just the visual thing of "s" -> "5".
