Count Chocula & Wife Swapping

There are so many great old vinyl rarities being shared @ Scar Stuff, it's hard to pick a favorite. But for me, the front runners are Count Chocula & Frankenberry's Monsters Go Disco & this outrageous 1971 sex record, Wife Swapping Swingers Party. It's like obscure sampler's paradise.

A wonderful use of the Internets. As a kid I read Famous Monsters religiously, and never had the $1.98 or so that you needed to buy these records (I finally found Arch Oboler's Drop Dead as an adult). The covers promised chills the records could never live up to, but it was great fun.

Has someone set up a directory of blogs that share out-of-print records?

QuietDesperation, weirdomusic has a pretty good visual guide to sharity blogs. also check Oddio Overplay and of course Xtabay's World has terrific links to other blogs.

Best option is to find some blogs you like and follow the chain of links, adding their RSS as you go. I use the Wizz RSS extension for Firefox.

The Wife Swappers record is fucking priceless. It's the greatest 20 minutes of audio I've ever heard, from the opening statement to the final growns. Who in their right mind would record & release audio porn, and such unbelieveably hackish, poorly made audio porn at that?
