I always knew Beaker was a nasty piece of work. It's a faithful reproduction, but you could say that about an art class for 13 year olds. Sure, there's an apple and a pear and a wine bottle in the frame, but is the result any good?

For three students in an intro to 3D modeling course at ITT Tech, I'd say it's pretty good. They probably went far beyond what was required for a class project.

True story: I was at a bar the other night that for some reason was projecting "Kung Pow: Enter the Fist" on the wall, and I remembered that the scene in that movie they showed in the trailer over and over again where the guy fights a CG-animated cow shooting milk from its teats in bullet time was the official moment Matrix parodies stopped being funny.

Beaker made a better agent, and should have been Agent Smith. He's much more frightening for the disparity with Beaker's harmless original character.
