Weird, did they just raise the profile of that site or something? Because I just stumbled across it for the first time like two weeks ago, and was blown away by it. Couldn't believe I hadn't seen it before, but they claim to have been around forever.

Good stuff.

Comics Should Be Good (the blog) moved from Blogger hosting to the Comic Book Resources domain back in May.

COBRA!, CSBG started out as a a blogspot-hosted comic blog and was only recently officially incorporated into the CBR website.

Personally, I think it's one of the top five comic blogs going (Check out this article on Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol by the always interesting Greg Burgas for more comic-y goodness.)

'Cause I don't feel like a big enough dork already, now I'm relegated to spending hours of my day off scanning through the plentiful urban legends of comic book history, most of which I had never even heard of, but now have well-informed opinions on.

Thanks, grabbingsand & Metafilter!

Wow, Captain Britain's weapon (from the Pet Shop Boys link) seems to be A Patriotic Pool Cue.

What a time hole. Thanks for posting this.

Especially thanks, because one of the entries linked to this Berni Wrightson interview. I used to be a huge Wrightson fan, and scarfed up everything he did up until the mid-80s. I read lots of interviews with him, but there were quite a few things in that interview I hadn't heard about before.

That post really was nerdvana.

Honest to Flicka, all of these articles need to be compiled and published in book form!

I will point this stuff out to the bartender at my local comics shop (LCS). He is a professional font of this kind of arcana but I'm not sure if he's full-up on all of this stuff.

This stuff is far more interesting than the 'Official' Guides to the Marvel and DC Universe.
