Cats + Hamlet = Cat Head Theater. A short by Tim Maloney, author of pretty weird videos.

This is really odd. And more than a little disturbing.

And now I'm going to have to re-watch Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, a film which contains my favorite version of this scene.

I miss The Cat Heads and Melanie Clarin was kinda cute. But not so sure about the talking cat head thing. I wanted to get into it, but . . . who knows the formula seems correct, the answer not what I dreamed of.

Thanks for the links! I had seen the Negativland Little Mermaid piece he did before, but hadn't seen his other work.

Really pretty weird stuff. I feel he's probably most entertaining on heavy psychotropic drugs.

Best use of talking cats ever.

I found that way more amusing than I probably should have.

I didn't find that nearly as amusing as I probably should have.

That reminds me of Alistair Cooke's corpse, which might as well have been cat's meat for all that happened to it. Has anyone done a dismembered zombie Alistair Cooke video yet? With maybe a cat eating him as he speaks?

I could watch an entire production of Hamlet like that, not just one scene.
