Is it supposed to sound like farting robots? What would you get if you circuit-bent an actual simulacrum's simulated flatulence? (WMV Video, NSFW for reasons I hope are obvious) posted by elderling at 3:32 PM on September 29, 2006
I got this collection and I really like it. A lot of the music is a lot calmer than the idea "noise music" often implies.
There are a good number of women performing and creating noise and related types of music. They don't tend to get as much attention though. posted by melt away at 7:43 PM on September 29, 2006
Melt away, noise just ain't what it usta be, regardless of gender. posted by DenOfSizer at 9:55 AM on September 30, 2006
Shouldn't sound-artists know how to spell "cacophanous"? posted by mykescipark at 2:44 PM on September 30, 2006
Ok, this is so off-topic, but it just annoys me that you're going to all the trouble of being pedantic and can't be bothered to spell "cacophonous" right, yerself. "Caco" + "phony", simple. What the hell's a "phany"? Why can't Johnny spell??? posted by krebby at 8:31 PM on September 30, 2006
