Snuffy has a posse.From his hero (Big Bird, of course, as well as "John William Konevich II's Bald F***ing head and those who worship it") to his friends (the Notorious PIG among them) to his friends' comments, Mr Aloysius Snuffleupagus' myspace page is thoroughly entertaining. (previously on MeFi)

Mr. Snuffleupagus is decidedly NOT an elephant. According the the Muppet wiki episode #3007 of Seseme Street covers this. (Which I only vaguely remember via the most obfuscated of shadows.)

Also, I just spent 30 minutes adding Muppets to my friends list. No, I don't care. It's Sunday. They're my friends.

You know what I always thought was weird? Adults who thought nothing of talking to an eight foot, speaking, dancing, singing, roller-skating yellow bird with a feather-fro formed the impression that Snuffleupagus was imaginary.
