I'm surprised that comic cover databases are so popular... how many sites have we seen featuring them? I would have thought we'd see more comic-influenced fiction, or animations.

Thanks panoptican. All those Marvel covers take me back to, you know, my childhood.

*gets a litttle misty eyed about, you know, getting old*

Neato. I don't think I've ever seen the cover of Action Comics, #2 before.

Too bad they are all in low-res, but cool nevertheless.

Nice find, panoptican. I like being able to see the changing cover art, like Batman as an example. From all wacky and smiling to some twisted huge guy in a cape pounding the crap out of people and things. Or in Conan's case, it hasn't changed much at all, except for the girl in peril not showing up so much.
Browsing the Mad Mag. covers, it seems that it was National Lampoon that did the parody I was thinking of, not Mad. Nice to have that straight.
Also - I must re-read all of the Asterix series. Simply amazing.

If there's any comic series suggestions to add, let me know and I'll try...

Also, I hope some of the resolutions aren't that bad...
