Recife's brushsets are the real treasure here. As far as I'm concerned, Photoshop is not installed until his brushes are safely loaded in the palette.

sweetlink. i especially enjoyed the 'project'. as for fonts... what fonts does the mefi community hold in special esteem? i've been using futura for way to long, kind of need a new base font to work from...

What are the brushes of? I use PSP, so I'd have to hunt up the PS->PSP coverter again if I want to use the brushes.

They are "grunge" brushes, made from images & scans of found objects with distressed surfaces (you can make your own as well- just google "define brush"). I first discovered Recife's brushes & fonts in 2002, and the next very week was commissioned to create a logo for a nonprofit community arts organization. This is what I delivered: Four years later & they're still using it!
