Marc Horowitz started a company, a trading post, a coffee stand, a national dinner tour, a human video game experiment, a reality TV show, a sprinkler documentary, an errand feasibility study, and much more. Apparently he needs to stop soon.

That same year, every Saturday, Marc ran 1500 feet of extension cord from his kitchen to the local park three blocks away where he hooked up a coffee maker and served free coffee to all who visited.

That's kind of funny.

I haven't seen the car ads, but that's apparently what prompted the post by a friend of Marc in which I first heard of him. It appears he's been doing this kind of stuff for several years now, so I was surprised I'd never heard of him before.

Now, a much more interesting guy for me is Mark Horowitz (that's Mark with a 'k'), who is a world leader in microprocessor architecture and digital circuits. But that's just me.
