Not particularly revealing, unfortunately. I understand he presents talks on being an ex-Amazon staffer. Maybe he doesn't want to ruin his act!

The layoff news is out. Amazon is laying off 1300 people, 15% of its workforce. Seattle customer service center will be closed, as will the Georgia warehouse.

Yep. Just got an email from a friend over at Seattle HQ not 15 minutes ago. (He didn't get fired, which is really pissing him off. He's sick of it there.) He said they have cabs waiting for the Chosen.

A friend of mine says she feels guilty and relieved -- relieved that she still has a job, but guilty because most of the people she works with have an "expiration date." She's looking for people to give her advice on how to cope, if you're interested...
