I too am concerned about the inappropriateness factor. Maybe it was the Harold and Maude element, where the kid in his natty courderoys takes off with the octogenarian into the sunset... EARWORM. I totally remember the jingle. And now it's STUCK IN MY HEAD.

I always think of this song when I see the words "haw haw". There was another ad though, with the kid stop-motioning up the side of a building. Very cool for the time.
