Man, these guys are idiots. All they had to do is tell anyone who noticed that they'd gotten a part in the movie, and everyone would just assume they were acting. But now that this has hit the news, that idea is shot.

They may have a plausible claim to void the release form based on

a) misrepresentation or
b) incapacity to enter a contract due to intoxication

Even if they get past the release theyll have to prove defamation or IIED or something, and convince a judge to award an equitable remedy (injunction) rather that just monetary damages.

The suit certianly isnt 'without merit'. However- it's HIGHLY unlikely that they could execute a sucessful suit and recieve any injunction agianst the movie before it's already out on DVD.

99.95% chance they settle for a million or two.
