Lilly Allen's perfect revenge video Lilly Allen sings in her British accent, a song about how it makes her smile to see her ex-boyfriend cry. He cheated on her and she got the perfect revenge.

Are you a covert agent for Ms. Allen or Ms. Allen's record company?

It was a good video and song but yeah, why link to the blog post and not to the YouTube page?

I saw Lily Allen in New York last month. It was fun. Apparently she sang "I Fought The Law" and "White Riot" with her godfather Joe Strummer when he opened for The Who at Wembley Stadium about five years ago. She must have been about sixteen at the time.

No, the perfect revenge is killing them, raising them from the dead as a zombie, and then make them do yardwork, clean the house, change your oil, etc.

What a vengeful, evil bitch! Nice song though...

I think Knock 'Em Out is a much better song from that album. Way catchier. Can't find a decent video or audio of it though, just a shitty live cut on YouTube.

Yeah I suppose her chav-accent is a flavour of British if you say wiggers like Eminem have an American accent.

or, a nice revenge, perhaps not perfect but still quite eatable, is taking a good person and turning them into a vengeful, obsessed, evil psycho, and have them self destroy their lives, hurt their friends, and probably get arrested. Induced self destruction the old saying goes, is a dish best served after a minute thirty five in the microwave.

It's accents like that that made me emigrate.

I don't really understand why this has been posted to the front page. I was going to flag it, but I figured maybe there's something I missing. Is Lily Allen unknown or unpromoted in the US, or something? This song's been all over the radio in Australia (and on tv commercials) for a while now, and Lily's Myspace ascendence is common knowledge (or so I thought). I like the song and the video, but, still....
Does this mean I can now post a single link to the blue about Grinderman, Nick Cave's new band?

if you say wiggers like Eminem have an American accent.

I think you'd be hard-pressed to find an American who says Eminem doesn't have an American accent.

Only one "L" in Lily. And yes, she's been everywhere since at least June.
