Cute, in a hokey sort of way.

Quite amusing, I liked it.

Lots less depressing than Noah. There's something quite tragic about having to watch a guy make horrible haircut decisions over and over again.

Not exactly original.

Better than most of these, but is the umpteenth version of the same thing really worth an FPP?

Bob Marley and Jim Morrison posters? who the hell is this guy?

Did you guys who are complaining about it having been done before actually watch the whole thing?

Why don't beautiful people ever do this?

Ha! Clever. I much appreciated the "How To" gag.

I still don't understand the appeal of the "picture everyday" thing. It's just boring. This however, was actually interesting.

Um... it's a parody.

That was very entertaining, and the Noah one was sort of eerie.

We don't have to take pictures of ourselves.

Uh...I'm thinking this is a parody of those earlier ones.

piratebowling: "Did you guys who are complaining about it having been done before actually watch the whole thing?"

Amen. This is like the Myers-Briggs questions that are designed to catch the people who are trying to game the test. If you clicked "dupe" or complained "basically a dupe" before RTFA WTFV, you lose at MetaFilter.

Why don't beautiful people ever do this?

would you rather someone who looked like me did it?

That was fantastic! From the wording of your post, I was like, "Ugh, another one of these." Then when I read, "boo_radley's comment I clicked the link. I'm so glad the comments guided me to make the right decision!

That was fantastic. I like the serious ones alright, I could see how it could get old, but this was one of the best things I've seen on youtube yet.

He should have worked in a brief parody of U2's Numb.

Hey! My sketch group made this. (I'm not the guy in the video, but I directed and edited most of it.) There's a higher-resolution version on our website, which will also also you step through it frame by frame if you so desire.

I'm glad I watched. Very cute little video.

good work, tweebiscuit. How long did the whole thing take?
posted by bob sarabia at 8:11 PM on November 13, 2006

Yes, it's a parody. It's still not great.

It didn't even have a single rabit with an idol inside, for crissakes.

bob sarabia, three straight days of shooting -- hundreds and hundreds of photographs -- but counting writing, preparation, and editing, about two and a half weeks.
