Wonderful—thanks!

Meh. Mozart is the Madonna of classical composers. Give me a station that's all-Messaien, or all-Mahler, all-Milhaud, or better yet, all-Marenzio.

Thanks, a great find.

soyjoy is cooler than I am, because all those M-composers are less-recognizable than Mozart or Madonna.

less-recognizable than Mozart or Madonna.

And better, too.

Okay, soyjoy. Honestly, after I posted that comment, above, saying, Meh!? Kneejerk pseudo-elitist meh-response!? Me snark now! [my translation], I wanted to take it back, because, really, whatever. You like those non-Mozart/non-Madonna composers—only three-quarters of whom I recognize by name, and none of whose work I'm familiar with (being far more familiar with Ms. Ciccone's work than any of the rest, sadly)—and good on you. I don't have any reason to argue that Mozart's better or more worthy than any of the rest of them of having a 24-hour broadcast. And MetaFilter threads have a now-traditional memelet, to wit: Your favorite [X] sucks. So say we all.

Meh!? Kneejerk pseudo-elitist meh-response!?

I think you missed the fact that "Meh" starts with "M."

Should I make a tired Meh-taFilter joke?
