Impossible. Why right now I have a little icon that tells me how many minutes I've used on my cellphone. If that's not what the tubes are for, I don't want to be right. Or something.

I don't see why you would make that correction, if for no other reason than it is not correct. Any quality dictionary will also define extensible to include "capable of being enlarged in length, area, or duration, or in range or scope of meaning or operation; = EXTENSIBLE" like the OED does.
