Vholoce: Weather Visualiser

Vholoce: Weather Visualizer uses real-time weather rss feeds to generate a series of net artworks. It doesnt seem to be just about the weather, and instead explores new methods of creating art and satire. At least I assume the video section is supposed to be satirical. What is most interesting about this net artwork/weather data project is its attempt to transform abstract data into even more abstract artistic representations. And besides I like the twirling bits and spinning colors coming from California weather.

Very pretty. I have a soft spot in my bitter heart for art generated from natural or mathematical patters.

Also I'm driving from Hartford to Boston today and I'll need to watch out for red boxes, apparently.

and i thought "it's raining men," was just a cheesy disco song. but according to this weather video it's raining at least one surly guy. who'da thunkit?

and more to the point, what does it mean??

Nope.....actually first saw the work here on metafi.....some post earlier this year...and have been kinda obsessed since then.....even borrowed the guys handle.....dont say anything......otherwise one might think me a s*alker....

but cool you noticed my digg/reddit submissions....did those for a college course....
