It's Flash Friday, but surprisingly no one's mentioned this yet. Since you seem to be fans of Orisinal's work, I thought it prudent to point out that he's put up a new game just in time for the holidays. So, let's go play some Winterbells, shall we?

It makes me sad when the little bunny falls from so high up - cute little ears flapping in the wind, cute little eyes peering below, hurling toward instant splattification.

though I'd like to see the splat, I admit. Not orisinal style i guess.

Thanks for reminding me that Orisinal exists. The combination of charming graphics, beautiful music, and ridiculously simple, twitchy flash action never ceases to amuse me.

And yeah, I feel a bit sorry for the bunny when he falls.

can anyone identify the musical score? sounds like a version of Canon in D major, but I'd love to know the particulars...

Canon in D is used with the piggies who say "Mee."

But it sounds like the same chord progression with a different melody.

Thanks so much for reminding me to check in on dear Orsinal, even though I apparently currently possess the mousing skills of a St. Vitus dance victim.

My favorite Orsinal games are It Takes Two, Among the Clouds, and the stunning High Delivery.

In addition to having a subtle and beautiful design aesthetic, if this interview is any indication, Ferry Halim is also modest, funny, and kind, just as you'd expect of a man who spends so much of his time contemplating bunnies and kittens. I wish I could thank him for making the beautiful things he does and offering them freely with minimal advertisement with a fistful of roses on a hot air balloon ride, but perhaps I'll just ask for some of his merchandise for Christmas instead. Thanks again, revmitcz.
