I got a comment on there before they took it down - I feel like such a pioneer. I bet the designer is as fired as DeLay is now.

Obviously, as his first fling with the power of the internets indicates, DeLay is at least equal parts evil and stupid. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I don't know how to link to a comment on someone else's page, but I calmly suggested he used his position to gerrymander, slander, and line his own pockets. And then I called him a prick. I'm guessing he probably didn't like that.

What's even more damning is the giant scroll of positive-only comments on his blog now. His own personal echo chamber. Yuck.

This one is a joke, right?
Dear Congressman,
My first question is did you file suit against the DA that railroaded you out of Congress? I would.

THE UNITED NATIONS (OF DESPOTS):
I pray to God that "someone" will finally have the "baxxs" to kick that corupt organization off our soil.

NATO:
I pray to God that "someone" will withdraw the USA from this toothless organization.

THE GOP in 08:
I cannot believe the GOP is offering up Comrade Senator john mc cain, "Rudy", & "Mitt" for presidential candidates. Good God the GOP is bankkrupt!

THE CONSTITUTIONAL PARTY:
I'm looking seriously at the Constitutional Party as the GOP has done EXACTLY what the Democratic Party did to me decades ago.....they left me! When I seen the Democrats become the SOCIALcrats, I didn't want to have any party of them. I'm feeling that way about the GOP now. "YOU" know the problems America is facing today, do you in your heart of hearts think any of these three guys will protect America? I don't.

THIS CONGRESS & ADMINSTRATION:
Selling America, GIVING away America. Illegals killing Americans EVERY DAY and the dumbass "major" networks are more concerned about the Americans being killed in Iraq. DAH!
CLOSE OUR FREAKING BORDERS AND DEPORT THE ILLEGALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FOREIGN AID:
Stop GIVING away American workers tax dollars to muslin countries to help ARM them so they can come over and KILL us. Another...DAH!!!!
I pray to God that we will get a President AND CONGRESS that will tell the muslins that the next attack on our soil will bring about a swift and final solution to the muslins.......
I.C.B.M.s USE'EM!!!! The WORLD hates America already. Unless of course they NEED our money. Then it's a different story.

SOCIAL (IN)SECURITY & MEDICARE:
Get real! If we stop GIVING away American tax dollars, we CAN TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN FIRST!!!!!
I have to choose a Medicare plan and it's mindbogging!!!! This is obscean how America's Seniors are being treated. Did the Congressmen/women & Senators have to chose from 40 different plans for their health coverage? Never mind, I know the answer to that one.

FIX AMERICA, CONGRESSMAN.

The Socratic method is unacceptable because Socrates was a stinkin' librul.

Not so, this is Marxist propganda promulgated by our so-called "education" system. By employing the razor-sharp intellectual tool of the Straussian ReadingTM, we can discern that the subject of e.g. the Meno is not the origin of knowledge, but rather a scathing indictment of the welfare system and a call for debt-based capitalist democracies to reproduce by force*.

(* analogous to the the wily homosexual, democracies are not natural occurances and only by seducing and threatening young states can they reproduce.)

"One phenomenon you are sure to encounter is what is known as "trolling", which is when someone who leans to the opposite end of the political spectrum starts leaving comments- frequently filled with rage, obscenities and all manner of uncivil behavior, sadly polluting this remarkable new medium with the disincentive to speak rationally."

The internets, it's a remarkable new medium. But trolling occurs only where rage, obscenities and uncivil behavior are inappropriate.

Too funny! It reminds me of that wonderful clip from post-Katrina New Orleans, where Dick Cheney went out for some sorry-ass photo-op without the usual GOP crowd screening, and someone suggested he go fuck himself.

Does anyone remember how Bush couldn't get to his own hijacked inauguration because furious citizens were all over the capitol steps? Dirtbags like Delay can't stand actual contact with the people they've so deeply fucked over. Dissent is not allowed, as it interrupts the Neocon love-in.

So this story is a delight. Really, it's made my day. I love seeing these bastards forced into retreat. I love seeing that they too can have feet of clay.

At one of my first newspaper jobs, one of my duties was to edit the opinion page. The editorials were often long, and we used large initial caps to break up the gray type. One editorial started with the letter F. I managed to use U, C and K for the other three. I don't think they read in order vertically down the page or anything, but I had a private chuckle about it anyway.
