Ok, wait, when did that PSA suddenly become a contemporary meme? One week ago today my buddy and I step out of my car in Astoria, and some passing revelers are quoting that "I learned it by watching you" line to each other, and he starts cracking up (i'd never seen the psa) and explains the whole ad to me. and now here it is. cosmically weird.

I honestly hate to be this guy, but are any other Mefite Star Wars fans who are also extremely bored with what other fans do with Star Wars? I mean there's no gag at all here. If you're familiar with the PSA you see it coming a mile away. And if you aren't familiar, it doesn't really resonate. It's like clicking on a YouTube video titled "Monkey Cage Shit Fight". The title pretty much gives you the whole thing. Subpar.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and there are very, very few Star Wars related parodies/spoofs that I find even remotely funny. It's not that I don't have a sense of humour, or I don't like that they are joking about Star Wars, it's that the jokes they make just seem to be so monumetally lame.
