Stacy sues Survivor. She claims that producer Mark Burnett urged Dirk and Sean to vote against her rather than against Rudy, in hopes that the last older contestant would not be booted.

Foaf, did the sarcasm kind of just go over your head? What I don't get is if they voted her off, so as to keep Rudy on...why was she one of the first contestants to get booted? At least I think that's what the article says. I'm too lazy and really not interested enough to go back and make sure.

No, they say "...fool for a client." Still, she's only suing, not trying to keep herself out of jail. I kinda like the fact that wrestling dropped the pretense that it was a real sport. But how would an interview with a wrestling writer go? "Smith previously worked on the series Boxers or Briefs, about boxers and the lady lawyers who love them, where he developed a grudge against story editor Mark Jones. Wait a minute! What's happening?! Jones has broken through security here and is throwing a chair at Smith!"

I like the concept of "engineered game show drama contestants." People raised in a vat specifically to compete on "Survivor." "We can do it. We have the technology. This person was born to eat a bug."

I think the reason Rudy was voted off late but she was voted off early was because at the start he was getting close to being voted off but then he started shutting up and laid low for weeks. I'd love to see him on the History Channel though: "the battle started when the French, they were mostly queers mind you, decided..."

Yeah, but I've seen him in promos for the History Channel, and I can only describe his acting as "crappy." You know, like those local car dealers who insist on doing their own commercials- you can practically see him reading the cue cards. Kind of like the Blistex commercial featuring Colleen. Just interesting that these people were picked to host or do commercials or whatever because they're in the waning seconds of their 15 minutes of fame as opposed to because they're good actors..

You know, Colleen just wrapped filming on a major motion picture. As the female lead. If she can't even handle Blistex, I can't wait to see her try to emote for 115 minutes.
