Tlapse is the corporate YouTube account of GBTimelapse software, who are promoting their product by posting a series of really interesting timelapse films. Favorites so far are: Pumpkin, Watermelon & Bananas, but maybe I just have a decomposing fruit fetish. Although, this one of the world's laziest cat enjoying another productive day isn't bad either.

The Mount Shasta one is pretty fantastic too; the creeping darkness reminds me of the arrival of the giant alien spacecraft in Independence Day.

I had a really similar plan to time lapse video one of my cats recently, fortunately for the sake of my cat's pride, my Mac died not to long ago and it housed the magic software. Maybe I'm simple, but I've always loved time lapse photography. Cool stuff jonson.

Thanks; these are lovely. I tried to make some time-lapse films of roots growing with a scanner last year, but gave up when it turned out that I couldn't sleep with a scanner going ZZZT-VRMVRMVRMVRMVRMVRMVRMVRMVRM-ZZZT two hundred times a night. Gorgeous, if macabe, time-lapse films of animals decaying figure heavily in Peter Greenaway's A Zed and Two Noughts.

The chia homer video is neat but it turns weird and vaguely disturbing at the end.

So nice jonson. I too love time lapse films and enjoy the artistry of these changing cloud formations, thunder and sunset.
