Yes, I believe it is a double, but I don't give a damn as it is definitely the Best of the Web and should be displayed regularly.

Echoing mediareport's comment, WOW! These are amazing! Did not expect them to be *that* wonderful but they are. What a fantastic find filmgeek, definitely +fav. Thanks. And thanks mediareport for the additional links. I love Jeff De Boer's sense of humor. Way cool ties and corporate raid briefcase. Ha!
Great links, thanks! THIS is what the internet is for. posted by eparchos at 12:03 PM on December 25, 2006

Yeah, they're now all working for me. I swear I was getting "URL could not be found" messages a few minutes ago, though. Maybe a temporary coral cache thing. posted by mediareport at 12:07 PM on December 25, 2006
Coral isn't especially reliable; it's best used when the target is VERY weak. Any kind of reasonably robust web farm will work much better than Coral, in my experience. posted by Malor at 12:26 PM on December 25, 2006
The funny thing about this is that I would love to see a cat actually wear this stuff. Because if the experience of my household is any indication, any kind of clothing makes our cats look miserable and fall uselessly over onto their sides.
Which is a shame, because I would love to armor up the kitties and send them forth to do battle with the dogs. posted by quin at 3:48 PM on December 25, 2006
If I could think of a great username-based gag here I'd use it. Unfortunately I am very tired. posted by ArmyOfKittens at 4:22 PM on December 25, 2006
Kittens can use the mouse armor. posted by mediareport at 5:33 PM on December 25, 2006
I specifically used coral (I tried google first) because I was afraid of metafilter either crashing his server or driving up his hosting costs. posted by filmgeek at 5:46 PM on December 25, 2006
Oh gosh, this stuff is good. Thanks for sharing (again). posted by ninazer0 at 6:04 PM on December 25, 2006
I can't believe the poster omitted any mention of Miaowara Tomokato. The *real* Samuri Cat, the one who fought Thpaghetti Thauce, among others, to avenge his fallen Daimyo.
Not that the armor isn't cool as all get out, but Tomokato was one of the best things ever. posted by sotonohito at 6:07 PM on December 25, 2006
sotonohito,
Yes, I was about to say... is this about The Samurai Cat books from the 80s by Mark Rogers? if not, then this guy's got some explaining to do, cuz it's damn close in appearance to the graphic novels. I used to love those books when they came out, i was only about 10 but I read the first two. posted by Liquidwolf at 10:10 PM on December 25, 2006

Well, it was spotty. I'm not sure that's a strategy we want to become the norm here. posted by mediareport at 1:29 AM on December 26, 2006
