The last time my parents were in Vegas they visited the Liberace Museum and had lunch at the gift/coffee shop. They found it such an excellent deal they stopped back a couple days later on their way back to the airport to pick up a couple of sandwiches for the trip.
Yeah, they're like really, really old.

And oh yeah, when I visited the museum in 2003 it seemed like they were still trying to keep the illusion alive that he just never met the right girl. I guess they didn't want to break any old ladies' hearts.

As a straight man who proudly displays that exact photo on his refrigerator (as a magnet purchased at aforementioned gift shop/lunchateria) I consider it my duty to disabuse you of any notions concerning the good man's sexuality. My thought was that any discussion of the great extent of Liberace's overwhelming, 100%-purely-heterosexual studliness would be too much for the elder fans' image of him as a paragon of virtue.

I was in Vegas last April and went to the museum because I thought it was be totally kitschy. What with being in the middle of a strip mall and housing his hot pants collection. I have to say though, between the quality of exhibits at the museum and finding out about the Liberace Scholars program, I came away really impressed.
