And here I thought I was going to get a rare zero-comment post...
Actually (and I know this is more appropriate to metatalk), one of the reasons I don't post more often in the blue is that even when I find something cool like this, I can't craft a blurb that appeals to people. I'm glad some of you enjoyed it! :) posted by jdroth at 2:45 PM on January 4, 2007

A mefiwhack?
You should post more. You are one of maybe three or four mefites whose posts I always like. posted by vronsky at 3:19 PM on January 4, 2007
I find that a large number of the high-comment-count posts get to be that way by being controversial. Arguments almost always make for the longest threads. And even in the shorter threads, a large amount of the posting is snark. (When I posted about buying telescopes a year or so ago, the majority of the early comments were people saying that people who buy telescopes have penis envy.) So having a large number of comments is far from necessarily being a good thing. posted by jiawen at 10:08 PM on January 4, 2007
