Walt-Mart stores in the US. It is said that in the US every person lives 30 miles or less away from a Walt Mart. Looking at the maps, it looks like that is true.
This post was deleted for the following reason: this isn't a map of walmart locations, it's just a google map linking to addresses. Try again please.
Uh, this is not a map of wal-mart stores in the U.S. Try a new FPP plz, kthxbye.

Yeah, there's at least 4 Wal-Marts in Peoria, IL and 1 in Grinnell, IA that aren't listed. Let alone any of the others within 50 miles of each town.

I wonder if every person lives 30 miles or less of away from a job.

No, no, no! There is a shockingly even distribution, nation-wide, of men (and in some cases women) named "Walt Mart".
This is their story.

When you go to flag a post, there's no "fantastically bad" option. So I settled for "offensive content." I am personally offended by this post's shittiness.

I know at least one place where the hypothesis is wrong. I lived in Saranac Lake, NY last year. There are three Wal-mart's within driving distance, but they are each over 30 miles away. Attempts by Wal-mart to build in Saranac Lake last year were thwarted by the village council.

There's a floating Wal-Mart off the coast of Florida near St Petersburg!

oh, for pete's sake ... go to THIS obscure and hard to find site and enter in the zip code you're interested in and it will tell you where all the walmarts nearby are

I’ve got 43 Starbucks locations within a five-mile radius of my apartment. First of all, what the fuck?

I'd be pretty pleased if the Wal-Mart corp went insane and planted an even hex-grid of 30-mile-equidistant stores across the whole of MT, though.

I had no idea I lived 30 miles from a Google map flag. They're everywhere!
