The schmaltzy intro song was the only excellent part. It's best to just stop the video as the song ends and watch the rest of the film in your imagination as the real thing is just sub-subgenius crap that doesn't begin to live up to the setup and title.

Holy shit, I haven't seen this in years! It was once available from my weird local video store on a compilation of other super 8 films and I used to rent it again and again just for this short. Seriously! I once did a monologue from it at a talent show. ("What do you think would have happened to you if you had hit my car?" -> repeat 5 times.) Thanks for posting this.
