Streetfighter Trump vs. Rosie.

I know we are all tired of Trump vs. Rosie. But, ashamedly, I got kick out of this. Literally. So if you don't like it, maybe someone can create a MeFi vs. The Deej game. (In case you have been under a rock: context.)

I guess I've been living under a rock, because until I saw a skit on SNL last week that referenced this "fued", I had no idea about any of this. I guess it's time once again to revisit whether I'm relying on the best new sources for my information.

Amusing game, though.

Rosie's tongue is an excellent ranged weapon.

I think we should put both of them in a sand-box and let them duke it out for themselves.

Haha! Just previewed the game:b

(In case you have been under a rock..

Thanks The Deej, I honestly didn't have a clue.

And thanks for reminding me why I don't own a television.

Yeah, I've been under a rock because I don't pay attention to retarded celebrity gossip.

Oh oh! A pair of celebrities, the movements of whom we are naturally expected to worship, have said bad things about each other! They are so rich and, therefore, important, maybe by paying careful attention to everything they do and say, I can feel important too! Even though, of course, I could never be their equal!

(In other words: bah.)

Your favorite celebrity bitch-slap sucks.

oh, wait, I guess this reaction was expected...

Your favorite meta-snark sucks.

Hah.

I've been following this feud closely via the Colbert Report. Stephen in my filter into what relevant in the celebrity conflict world. Without him, I'd be lost.

I also had never heard of this, so thanks. This is basically the definition of camp.

You know, whatever else you want to say about the Romans, at least they got to watch gladiators fight bears and lions. Is this really the best our withered culture has to offer? Can't we arm these two with scythes and giant robot avatars and let them fight it out to the grisly end in a nice stadium setting?

I don't watch The View, but...I'm sorry, I think she's hilarious. And yes, I mean that un-ironically. (For the most part.)

Awesome! I think yet another "Guess What Colbert Said Today!" FPP is in order. The previous 14 really haven't cleared things up.

Have we had any Colbert FPPs?
posted by The Deej at 7:04 PM on January 21, 2007

Yes. Because it's inconceivable that a comedian might discuss things that are important in our society today. Nothing from either the Daily Show or the Colbert Report is ever going to be newsworthy enough for the blue?

Also, looking at the FPP itself, I find no reference to the fact that the poster was bringing this information from said television show. In fact, I am the only one in this thread who mentioned it at all. And mine was said mostly in jest.

You, my friend, might need to lighten up a bit.

Oh, and oddly, I actually saw the game on The Sunday Morning Show. (I think that's what it's called.) That classy, laid-back, nice CBS program.

Well played sir. I was so ready to assume offense that it never occurred that there was irony to be had.

My bad.
