Get Hostile! - Inspired by the well-beloved Avalon Hill board game Acquire, Get Hostile! is a free, web-based board game that has already sucked up hours of my time. Check out the quick tutorial to get up to speed, then play against live opponents or AI's, forming corporations, buying stock, and doing hostile takeovers!

You know, I was just thinking about trying to recreate Acquire somehow. Cool!

via Projects.

Yes, it was a drive-by one-post by the site's admin/programmer Brian, but both Brian and the site are such a class act that I have no qualms about this FPP.

I love Avalon Hill games. It's too bad it's just a brand owned by Milton Bradley now.

Anyway, this is an awesome thing. Thanks Brian! (and ikkyu for the post)

I love this game. I don't understand why it's out of print.

Wow, missed this before. Acquire is great, and I just managed to pick up a pristine edition for $3 at a thrift store last week, which means I have two copies now. I couldn't be more pleased.

Thanks for this post.
