Physics simulators. Lots of physics simulators.

PhET - Physics Education Technology offers this astoundingly large library of online physics simulations. Play orbital billiards. Land on a cheesy moon. Experiment with sound. Or try more advanced quantum physics simulators. Still bored? Try the "cutting edge" catagory. Here's the complete index. (Warnings: Frames, Flash, Javascript, Java applets, graphics, sound, quantum timesuck.)

Thanks, best of the web! - setting up those mini solar systems is quite trippy, and educational.

Another great resource for math/science teachers is Project Interactivate made by Shodor. Also if you have time you should browse through the National Science Digital Library. It has a ton resources just like the PhET and Project Interactivate.

Wonderful stuff: almost wish I had a cat to watch the oscillating Wave on a String.
