Blogger server down?

Blogger server down? Well, a least for me all night and all morning. I don't know if everyone is getting this error: HTTP Error 500-13 - Server too busy
ev says he will be at O'Reilly's P2P Conference for much of the rest of this week.
Anyone knows any other news about this?

Works fine for me.
That new server thing has been up for a while -- it's to specify if you're connected to the old server or the new one that they raised funds for.

You can get to the new server (the old one may be down) at plant.blogger.com. The old server must be hosed.

"BLOGGER - (new server!)" simply means that you have been directed to the paypal-funded server that was purchased -- the message has been there for a few weeks (you just had to get to the new server to see it).
my guess is that the original server is having troubles. i think your chances of getting the new one are about 50/50, but i also think you have to close and re-open your browser to have that chance again. once you are dircted to a server refreshing won't help.

I thought the server redirection was based on cookies, so I think I always ended in the old server. Matt advise was the solution. Thanks everyone :-)

yeah, once you got either the new or old server, you stuck with that for all eternity.
so go to the new server if need be.

Thank you, Matt. My constant attempts to reload the old server were verging on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
