Painful. One thing that really had an impact on me: At the time that this was made four Reuters Journalists had been killed in Iraq, three of which were killed by American forces. A further three were in Abu Ghraib. Even taking into account the fact that journalists are more likely to get caught up in things due to their jobs it doesn't say much for the chances of the average Iraqi.

I am left with the feeling that I am the wrong person watching this. Will it be shown in the US? Probably not. Will it be dismissed by the White House? Of course. This is exactly the type of honest journalism I like to watch. It's not comfortable viewing though.

We need to consolidate our media outlets even more. Then we'll get the truth. (Truthfully, the fact that we don't see this on the news should be criminal. I mean, heads rolling criminal.)

anthill, that's why the site was taken down, the Pentagon denied that this took place in Iraq (and that US troops might have sent the photos), and the poor guy got thrown in the hole. USA! USA! What we do has no bearing on the rest of the world. Except inspire, of course.
