The Mad World video is a response to this other street-dancing video, which I found striking and a little frightening.

I don't often find covers of songs to be better than the original, but Gary Jules' version is infinitely superior. I've been listening to it a lot, lately. That said, I didn't find either video to be that impressive. It did bring to mind koyaanisqatsi, though.

Weird, The Scream is one of my favorite paintings and Mad World remains one of my all time favorite songs. Something about Gary Jules' version just makes the song so amazingly great and yet so amazingly sad that I have a hard time listening to it at times. Also featured in the classic Donnie Darko movie...

His cover is much better then the original Tears for Fears version...
