Britain's best footballer, David Beckham, and his wife Posh Spice are almost as important as royalty. That they have agreed to be interviewed by spoofist Ali G is a tad surprising...read the transcript here.

It's not so surprising... it's for Comic Relief. A charity event that's held every couple of years.

I'm outraged!

Julian Dicks is (was) our best footie player, and West Ham shall rise again...

(Someday in the 23rd century...actually...on a serious note, West Ham has been doing well this season...weird, eh?)

What's interesting to me is that even though Ali G is a British product, there's high quality video of his show floating around the web - and people who've never heard of him, know him now. Crazy ass internet.

Owillis: and he was in that Madonna video as well, and there was a mention in the New Yorker a while back.

I must say, I didn't see the Comic Relief interview on TV, but from the transcript Posh and Becks come off much sharper than everyone was saying they did.
