Derrick Bostrom, former drummer for the Meat Puppets and curator of MeatPuppets.com has posted a collection of early Puppets vids on youtube, collected by the user dullsville. Of course, I've made a playlist. More great music available under dullsville's profile.

I love me some Meat Puppets. Up on the Sun remains one of the finest albums I have ever heard. Weird, trippy gorgeous, shimmering, trembling aching quiet exultant.
Goddamn...

sweet! Thanks for posting this and making a playlist. By the way, for those fans who haven't heard, the bros. Kirkwood are reunited, have started recording music, and are doing a national tour. No joke (sorry, couldn't resist). Their MySpace page has the details. (Note: not spam - I'm just excited).

I saw the Meat Puppets in Phoenix in 1988. They played a cover of Metallica's cover of Holocaust's The Small Hours. Curt Kirkwood was (is) a hell of a guitar player.
