Who do you hate more? Paula or Antonella? Carville or Sharpton? Jared the Subway guy or the GEICO lizard? This alternate-world March Madness Tournament seeks to identify America’s most loathsome celebrity.

This sounded like a good 3 minute diversion, but the way to vote is to email the guy? Pfff.

Michael Jackson vs. O.J. Simpson in the first round? And Mel Gibson vs. Tom Cruise? Who seeded this thing?

Antonella: Because I hate sluts. I love women but dread thinking about how Antonella may give birth to a child and of course said child will follow in her liberal footsteps.

Well, I'm an idiot. I link twice to the same page, but not to the actual poll. As they say in the news biz, baltimore regrets the error.

OOOoooh, you click on the names to bring up the voting interface. OK. Well unfortunately, I don't know who a lot of these people are. Antonella? Billy Bush? But I won't let that stop me!

The second link in the post probably meant to go here: here.

Just click on any name in one of the divisions to get a pop-up ballot for that division.

Isn't hating on celebs just as stupid and worthless as worshipping them?

Every time I catch my wife sneaking a peak at that thesuperficial.com web site, I can't help but think that the guy that runs it is even worse oxygen stealer / waste of life than the people he hates on for a living.

Antonella should be in the play-in game before "The Big Dance". And she should play against Dick Vitale. Now I'm off to check out the whatzit!

Can we vote to get rid of Cox Cable Channel 44, The Entertainment Channel? My wife watches that tripe and it just kills me. That "E!" is the absolute worst. This FPP is now running a close 2nd. I somehow feel dumber already!

What I hate are the nameless, faceless bastards who make a living buying pictures from papparazzi and publishing those obnoxious National Enquirer clones which are then put on the end caps of checkout lanes in grocery stores where you can't possibly avoid them - they're worse than billboards just right in your face next to the gum and the batteries - got I hate that. Why aren't those bastards on these lists? I wouldn't even know Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are buying babies in foreign countries to treat like barbie dolls if it weren't for those damned rags.

Buying? Why am I still leasing?

Self-link? The user baltimore has 10 posts, 5 of which link to the Baltimore Sun, and 3 of which link to sunspot.com, which redirects to the Baltimore Sun.

Owned.

Maybe cortex can ban his first member!

Nice research, m_b, and very suspicious evidence. I was going to bring up the possibility of a self-link, but it would have been meant as a joke.

orrr.. could it just be that baltimore is someone from, you know, baltimore, who reads his local paper and links to the things he finds interesting? (not that links to newspaper articles are exactly best of the web, but still, it's a little tenuous, no?)

Maybe not yet time to get a rope yet--baltimore has a relatively low user number (14614) and a lengthy AskMe record, both traits that aren't typical of self-linkers (unless he's a sleeper agent). Maybe it's just that his preferred online news source is the Baltimore Sun, as opposed to the NYT, which everyone else links here.

I think this guy needs to turn off the TV once in a while.

My girlfriend does tend to gravitate towards that obnoxious E! channel. I solve that problem with an iPod. Although, I will say that I tune in weekly to The Soup to see Joel McHale gleefully hate on all things celebrity-related.

He found 10 interesting things about Baltimore?

I voted because I hate me some celebrities. Nothing I'd like to do better than slap them down for getting famous while I still languish in obscurity. In fact, I blame them for my own failures most of the time. Especially that Ry Cooder character. He makes me feel "icky." That's why I wrote him in on all my ballots. Wrote directly on my moniter. Crossed out the names of the other celebrities and just wrote "Ry Cooder" all over my screen. Typing this blind.
