You mean low res copies of high-res food scans. You have to buy the high-res versions.

Yep... those sure are scans of food. I like the presentation of the overview - all the little squares - but the individual scans aren't really very interesting.

I'm a little disappointed that there aren't higher resolution versions, usable for desktops and whatnot. Still, cool pics.

I did that once. I'm pretty sure I've still got a 30meg tiff of a saltine hanging around, somewhere.

Isn't this basically an ad for the full scans? I mean, as it stands there really isn't anything interesting there. Although I agree with blaneyphoto about the overview.

Every Saturday I go to my local greenmarket buy some goodies, take them home, and scan them....

Someone buy this guy a model train or something.

He should also scan his resulting poops. People could try to match column A with column B.

I must say, exlotuseater's link to"Fruity Pebbles action shot!" pleases me so much more than these pictures of vegetables. I mean, the fruits and veggies look delicious, I'd love to eat them, and I wouldn't eat the Fruity Pebbles unless I really had to, but when it comes to photography, I need a bit more personality/edge/humor. The lovely veggies just don't have it.

Two problems, exlotuseater. 1) That's a nice filet mignon but unfortunately you used the word "yum-O". 2) Your corn muffin has a nasty dingle berry growing on it. You should get that checked out.

Ratatouille? ratatouei? rat-tat-touelle? ..... I'm feeling feeling so regular, popechunk.

does anyone read the posts down here?

Not me!

Special for filtroids! If you want a desktop-size version (well, 1275x1755 px) of any of the veg, drop me a line with the ones you're interested in and I'll hook you up. Or if you want to buy me a model train with the pretend whistle that goes WHOO WHOO.

Or, um, *cough*

(Sorry, not all of them have high-res versions yet.)
