How could you make the TARDIS even cooler? First, strip away the whole "bigger on the inside than the out" part, and second, get rid of the ability to travel in space & time. Finally, add the ability to play every arcade videogame ever invented.

Well, in a certain way it's still bigger on the inside than on the outside if it's using MAME, because that's the whole point of MAME (one box running limitless games that used to take up a box each) :)

I was watching a UK remodeling show the other day, and the plumber was complaining that the homeowner couldn't have two sinks because the bathroom wasn't a TARDIS.

How could you make the TARDIS even cooler? Seems more like he's making a MAME console cooler, not a TARDIS. I mean, sorry, but I'm pretty sure if the choice presented itself I'd take complete control over time and space inside a personal sub-universe over being able to play Dig Dug whenever I want. Cool case mod, though.

The TARDIS was never "cool." That's precisely what made it cool. Duh.
