Guerrilla Marketer arrested at SXSW. He was marketing the Zune, but it dosn't seem like he was arrested for simple lack of taste.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Zunes suck, but this is an incredibly thin post. -- cortex

Fascinating.

A remarkable, heart-wrenching, multi-faceted story with a compellingly constructed narrative.

I will applaud when "the man" starts arresting real estate agents for their ubiquitous signs.

Is that the smell of MeFi justice wafting in?

When listening to my iPod and wandering around any number of major city centers, I've noticed that the gaze of many cute girls will find residence on my person for longer periods of time if they notice the white earbuds.

To take advantage of this situation, I've taken to wearing the earbuds sans iPod. I've removed the business end of the headphones--the one that plugs into the ipod. I apply super glue to this circumcision and stick it to the inside of my wrist. When said cute girls catch my eye, I motion (using an intricate series of eye, eyebrow, and head maneuvers) and proffer my wrist to them.

Wide eyes. Sharp intake of breath.

"It's the next wave. I've got a box of iPhones back at my place."

"Do you think we could.."

My finger to her lips, "No more words."

I'm curious as to what you found interesting about it. It's a short blurb about some guy getting arrested for some unknown reason.

delmoi's been bought out, and this post is actually part of the marketing scheme.

I don't think duct taping enormous signs - featuring a slick design and product logo - to a lightpost counts as guerrilla marketing.

The most interesting thing about this link was the ad for the new TV version of This American Life. I'd forgotten about that.

Too bad I don't have cable.

Target Practice writes "Too bad I don't have cable."

You've got a computer, though! And internet access.

I'm just sayin'.
