I lurve finding out what conventions are in Vegas when I'm there. It cracks me up. I love that the Computer Electronics Show is usually on the same weekend as the porn convention. The two conventions are such polar opposites & it's great entertainment to spot the deer-in-headlights computer geeks in the crowd who are seeing boobs in person quite possibly for the first time. (For my money, that is a quite possibly the very best weekend for people watching in Vegas that I could possibly imagine.) But also, I loved watching the demographics on the street visibly change as a Nascar convention grew nearer. And I loved meeting a 400 pound man who was in town for the Clogging Convention & wearing a shirt & baseball cap that both identified him to the world as a championship "dancing contestant." Convention people watching. Good times.

Most the guys who I know went to CES also went to the porn show and its not their first time for both. Maybe their first time seeing a pair that huge, but not their first time. (lives in Vegas, went to CES, not the porn show) And the Virtual Air Traffic Convention made me laugh. I thought I was an avaition geek, but apparently I'm not that big of an avaition geek.
