Alaska Ice Festival 2007!

I happened to attend the Ice Festival in Fairbanks last winter. Incredible stuff. On the fair grounds, the phone booths were even made of ice. Working phone booth, made of ice. You got to love that.

I live a little further south in Alaska, and our town is full of ice sculptures every year. This year, though, they all lasted about a week. The weather warmed up right after they were made, they melted, and then it got fucking freeeezing again.
