Nearby residents didn't seem too upset. No one claimed it was the work of aliens or a secret cult. 250 animal carcases dumped. Included coyotes, dogs, cats cows, the usual stuff. "I'm a little concerned about it,""Stuff like that happens," she shrugged. But the folks in the forums think otherwise and have opinions as to what should happen to the deed doers and the cause of their actions.

I had to have a vet put a cat down once. It belonged to my girlfriend at the time (now my wife). Remy was a good cat, but was old and sick. It was her time. I was doing the responsible thing. - So, what happens to the body, I asked. - We have a service that picks them up, the vet said. - And what exactly does the service do with them, I asked. - They cremate the animals. You don't have to worry about it, he said, unless you want to pay a little extra, and they'll provide you with the ashes in a nice box. It's good. I didn't like the sound of "the service picks them up." I wanted Remy to have a measure of dignity (or rather, I wanted to feel like dignity was at least involved somehow), so I paid the little extra and scattered the ashes myself in a nice creek near my office. But still ... how was I to know if the ashes were really Remy's? What really happens when "the service" picks them up? It's stories like this when we learn what can happen, sometimes. We put a lot of faith into "the service" without a lot of follow-through.

Yeah, newspaper forums are amazing! I find them better than the articles for fright factors. David4801 has this to say: I'm as outraged and incensed by this senseless killing and mutilation as everybody else. And yes, something needs to be done. And the folks responsible for this should be held accountable. Hummm...... lets see, maybe we should start with this crowd that says that the killing of unborn babies in this country is just a choice that every woman has the right to make. This mentality sorta devalues life in general. After all, what's the life of a few hundred little cats and dogs compared to the four thousand little babies that are killed each and every day across this land of ours. Then lets move to the crowd that says the Bible has no place in schools. How dare young folks hear that the Creator of this universe said "A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast". It seems that Satan was all too happy to fill the void with his devices when the Bible and prayer were kicked out of the schools. Satanic groups sprung up and left and right and young folks are now learning all about satanic rituals where animals are killed, mutilated, skinned and beheaded. Then lets think about this crowd today that is trying to convince everyone that their abnormal behavior which the Creator of this universe calls an abomination is just a alternate life style which we all should accept and not say anything against. And the sodomites have just about won this battle of acceptance. They have just about convinced the masses that we should just look the other way at their abnormal behavior....... and accept it........ and that's probably what these people killing these poor dogs and cats are thinking too......... we all should just look the other way at their abnormal behavior.......... and accept it. Yes, the folks responsible for this should be held accountable...... but they probably won't be, at lease not in this life. But...... the day of judgment is coming....... and a Just and Righteous Judge will be on the throne. Very nice and on topic!
